Against all the odds in the world
Everything turned upside down
Nothing seemed to go right
Will to strive on still held strong
Strength to fight on survived
Despite all odds against me
Nothing could defeat me now
Nothing could bring me down
World of pains I’d hold alone
Not even death could break me
Abandonment would not break me
Nothing could defeat my will
For I had suffered it all before
I had seen it all and worse
My strength had evolved
My strength was endless
For my spirit had surprised it
Yet the pains will remain
They shall be remembered forever
But they will not drag me down
