Frozen

Heart long frozen from the cold
Wasteland of sheer ice remains
Nothing is left but coldness
No warmth can penetrate
No kind act can shatter it
To many betrayals have broken
All shards of hope
All chances of redemption
Have long be lost
Logic rules all that is left of me
Heart caged within its prison
Soul frozen to nothingness
No heat can ever melt
